JKSSB Releases Provisional Answer Key for Written Exam

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently conducted the Written Examination for the Assistant Scientific Officer (Chemistry and Toxicology) position, under the Home Department, UT Cadre.

The examination, advertised through Notification No. 02 of 2022, under Item No. 43, took place on January 6, 2024.

Provisional Answer Key Released

Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the Provisional Answer Key for different question paper series (Series A, B, C, D). The Answer Key is available in Annexure “A” of this notice.

Objections and Representations Process

For any objections or representations regarding the provided answers, candidates are required to use the prescribed format/proforma provided in Annexure “B.” Along with this, candidates must submit hard copies of supporting documentary proof/evidence for their claims.

A nominal fee of Rs. 200/- per question (in the form of a demand draft) is applicable, refundable in the case of valid objections.

Important Dates and Submission Process

The objections/representations must be submitted offline at the office of JKSSB, either at CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Jammu, or JKSSB, Zamzam Building, Rambagh, Srinagar.

The submission period is from January 8, 2024, to January 10, 2024, during regular office hours. No representations or objections will be entertained beyond this stipulated period or through any alternative mode.

Controller of Examinations Statement

The Controller of Examinations, Reyaz Ahmad Malik (JKAS), affirmed the validity of the process. Any revisions to the Answer Key based on accepted objections will apply to all candidates, but individual communication regarding objection status will not be provided.

Notification and Publication

A copy of this notice has been forwarded to the Director of Information & Public Relations, J&K, Jammu/Srinagar, requesting publication in at least two prominent newspapers in Jammu and Kashmir.

Additionally, relevant board members and officials have been informed for their awareness and necessary actions.
